The fine print
What we ban
- Brand-name bidding on paid search. Don't bid on "Website Killer", "website killer", "killerwebsite.ai", or close variants on Google / Bing / Meta ads. This cannibalizes our paid search and gets affiliate accounts permanently banned.
- Direct-linking from paid ads. Paid-ad landing pages must be your own (your blog post, your review page). Direct-linking ads to our domain also gets banned.
- Spam / scraped sites. Auto-generated review sites, scraped content, link-spam farms — banned at signup if detected, banned at first payout if discovered later.
- Misleading promises. "Free unlimited custom domains" or "no upgrade required" misrepresentations get the affiliate account closed. Honest reviews convert better anyway.
- Self-referrals. Don't sign up to your own affiliate link. Detected via IP / device fingerprint / payment overlap; commission gets clawed back.

Frequently asked questions
How much do I earn per referral?
25% of the customer's recurring subscription, every month, for as long as they stay paid. Example: a Pro customer ($14/mo) = $3.50/mo recurring to you. A Premium customer ($39/mo) = $9.75/mo. Enterprise customers (custom-priced) pay out at flat $200-1,000 per signup depending on contract size.
How do I sign up?
Email affiliates@killerwebsite.ai with your name, the channel(s) you'll promote on (newsletter, blog, YouTube, X/Twitter, etc.), and an estimate of your audience size. Approval is usually within 2 business days. Once approved you get a unique affiliate link, a dashboard, and access to a media kit (logos, screenshots, copy templates).
How are payouts handled?
Monthly via Stripe Connect or PayPal. Payouts trigger when your accumulated balance is over $50 (most affiliates clear this in month 2-3). Sub-$50 balances roll over until the threshold. Stripe Connect is faster (1-2 business days); PayPal is the fallback for countries Stripe doesn't support.
How long does the cookie last?
60 days. If a visitor clicks your affiliate link and signs up to a paid plan within 60 days (even if they take a free plan first and upgrade later), the conversion is attributed to you. Last-touch attribution: if a visitor clicks two different affiliate links, the most recent gets credit.
Can I run paid ads with my affiliate link?
Yes, with two restrictions: (1) you cannot bid on '${BRAND.name}', 'website killer', or any of our brand-name keywords on Google Ads, Bing Ads, or social ad platforms. Brand-name bidding cannibalizes our paid search and gets affiliate accounts banned. (2) Landing pages must be your own — you cannot direct-link to our domain from a paid ad.
Can I write a review of Website Killer?
Yes — encouraged. The best-converting affiliate content is honest reviews with screenshots, a comparison vs the alternatives the reader is considering, and a clear conclusion (positive or negative). FTC requires disclosure that the link is an affiliate link; add 'I earn a commission if you sign up through this link' near the link.
Can I bundle Website Killer in a course or info-product?
Yes. Many course creators include Website Killer as the recommended tool for their 'build a marketing site' module — the affiliate link in the course material drives strong signups. We can provide co-branded content (template starting prompts, branded course screenshots) for course creators with 200+ paid students.
Are there higher commission tiers?
